EdUHK Info Day: Comprehensive Admissions Talks Empower Students from Diverse Backgrounds to Plan Their Academic Futures

The Education University of Hong Kong (EdUHK) held its Information Day (Info Day) in Tai Po Campus today (25 October) to provide the latest admissions information for the 2026 entry to JUPAS and non-JUPAS applicants and their parents. Professor John Lee Chi-Kin, President of EdUHK, attended the admissions talk and tried out games at the booths to interact with participants.

The Info Day featured five specialised University-wide admissions talks. These sessions provided information on undergraduate admissions for JUPAS, sub-degree, Chinese Mainland JEE (Gaokao) applicants, student-athletes, and non-local applicants with international qualifications. The talks were delivered by staff from the Registry, the Global Affairs Office or relevant academic departments and current students, covering the latest admissions requirements, programme features, and employment prospects.

The event featured a variety of activities. In addition to the five University-wide admissions talks, EdUHK also arranged programme briefings, an admissions chatroom, a Psychology carnival, workshops, AI & Robotics Showcase, student performances, and more. Guided campus tours were also provided, allowing participants to visit various university facilities, including the Human Performance Laboratory, the Arthur Samy Language Learning Centre, library tours with VR/AR experiences, student halls, a fitness room, and sports facilities. This enabled participants to experience the university environment and campus life.

In the 2026/27 academic year, EdUHK’s undergraduate entrance scholarships will be increased by around 50% to attract more aspiring, academically and non-academically outstanding local and non-local students to study at EdUHK.
