Led by The Education University of Hong Kong (EdUHK) President Professor John Lee Chi-Kin, the University delegation embarked on a visit to the Middle East in early February 2026, stopping in Oman and the United Arab Emirates. During the trip, the delegation met with Ministers of Education, Chinese Ambassadors and leading universities. They also took part in the World Governments Summit, engaging in in-depth dialogues with government leaders and higher education representatives. The visit yielded fruitful outcomes. EdUHK will further strengthen collaboration across government, industry, academia, and research in the Middle East, broaden academic exchange and diversified partnerships, and continue to drive the University’s internationalisation.
