Purpose 

The society is established to: 

(1) promote the concept of environmental protection at The Education University of Hong Kong (EdUHK), and extend environmental protection to various aspects of development, including utilisation, reuse, recycling, and cleaning of waste, providing prospective teachers with inspirations on how to teach the significance of environmental protection to future students. 

(2) organise various types of activities and seminars related to environmental protection for students, reminding them to practise green living and how to reuse and recycle waste to achieve sustainability goals. 

Governance

The society is currently administered by an Executive Committee consisting of 12 full-time EdUHK undergraduate students. 

Structure and Stakeholders 

According to the Constitution of the Society, only full-time students of the EdUHK are eligible to become members of the society. The Executive Committee shall coordinate and manage all memberships and communication among members.  

All society members are eligible to enrol in the environmental-related activities held by the Society throughout the academic year. According to the annual activity plan, the Society plans to organise environmental talks and workshops during the registration period.
