EdUHK Holds eSports Day: Unveiling a New Chapter in Campus Vitality

The Human Resources Office of the Education University of Hong Kong (EdUHK) hosted the eSports Day on its Tai Po campus on 2 April.

The event attracted a host of staff members and students, creating a vibrant and joyful occasion through a variety of engaging and entertaining programmes.

The eSports Day featured seven exciting activities, including car racing, e-cycling, e-running, e-dragon boat racing, e-basketball, motion games and an e-bun scrambling competition. The diverse activities provided ample exercise for staff and students, while also allowing them to experience the fun of e-sports.

Nine teams were formed with staff from various departments to compete in the team tournament. They discussed strategies and prepared thoroughly before the contest. As the tournament began, laughter and cheers filled the air, creating a competitive and joyful atmosphere. Participants not only demonstrated their physical strengths and gaming skills during the competition, but also strengthened their friendships through the challenges.

On the conclusion of the event, participants expressed their eagerness to take part in similar activities in the future to enhance interaction among staff and students, and to strengthen cohesion on campus.

The eSports Day provided a platform for staff and students to relax and demonstrate their skills, enhance the feeling of community, ignite passion for sport, and foster team spirit.
