District Officer and E-League Programme Students Visit EdUHK
District Officer (Eastern) Mr Simon Chan Sheung-man, Eastern District Youth Advisors Ms Julida Fong Choi-peng, Dr Bobby Liu Kam-hing, Mr David Chiu Chi-kin and students from “The E-League” Programme (Programme) visited The Education University of Hong Kong (EdUHK) on 17 July 2024. With the aim of “Promoting Self-reliance, Steeling Oneself, and Contributing to the Community”, the project organises various activities every year to encourage students to challenge themselves, recognise their strengths and contribute to society.
This year, EdUHK was invited to host a visit for the project participants to enhance their understanding of EdUHK’s educational and non-educational disciplines.
During the visit, the students were accompanied and guided by staff from the Student Affairs Office and the School Partnership and Field Experience Office (SPFEO). They were taken on a tour of the EdUHK future classroom in the library and the student hall.
They also participated in a sharing session with the Dean of Students, Dr Sammy Hui King-fai, Director of the SPFEO, Dr Kevin Kam Wai-keung, and current students. The visit provided aspiring students with deeper insights into EdUHK's programmes and campus life. It also motivated them to choose their future development paths based on their personal interests, with the hope that they will actively contribute to various sectors of society in the future.
