15,000 masks distributed to families of frontline staff
As a caring organisation, The Education University of Hong Kong (EdUHK) conducted a mask donation campaign in April 2020 to share love and care to family members of its frontline staff, including cleaners, security guards, movers, gardeners, shuttle bus drivers and caterers.
Thanks to the generous donation of the University staff, 300 boxes of surgical masks were purchased and distributed on 17 and 24 April. The initiative served as a small token of appreciation and gratitude for our frontline staff who help maintain the smooth operations of the University, especially during the pandemic.
