The development of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macau Greater Bay Area (GBA) is a major national strategic plan aimed at promoting regional collaborative development and deep integration. The rapid rise of the GBA has brought unprecedented opportunities and challenges for education and social development. This symposium aims to explore the current state of education and society in the GBA from multidimensional and interdisciplinary perspectives, considering the context of globalisation and post-globalisation, and to anticipate future development directions in order to fully leverage the comprehensive advantages of the three regions. The symposium covers three main topics:

• Education and Talent Development: To focus on educational policies and practices aimed at improving the quality of talent cultivation;
• Social Development and Governance: To propose improvements and suggestions in response to the challenges faced by current social welfare and public service provision; and
• Economic, Financial, and Technology Policies: To explore how to leverage innovative technologies to promote regional economic and financial transformation, industrial integration development within the new global political and economic context.

We hope that the symposium will bring together experts and scholars from diverse backgrounds to collaboratively explore future development paths and provide innovative and practical solutions for the long-term prosperity and stability of the GBA.

The symposium includes three parts: keynote speeches, presentation and roundtable discussions.
