The Department of Health and Physical Education at The Education University of Hong Kong (EdUHK) is delighted to host the international conference “Shaping the Future: Sport, Health and Education” (SFSHE2026) from 2 to 4 November 2026 at its Tai Po Campus.

Celebrating 10 years of EdUHK’s retitling, the conference will bring together internationally recognised leaders from academia, professional practice, applied sports practice, policy and elite performance from across Asia, Europe and Australia to explore three important topics in sports science and physical education:

Key Strands

1. Health, Physical Activity and Societal Impact

Professor Lauren Sherar, Executive Dean of the School of Sport, Exercise and Health Sciences of Loughborough University, United Kingdom, will deliver the keynote. Loughborough University is consistently ranked among the world's leading universities in sport-related subjects and is widely regarded as one of the premier sport universities globally. 

2. Excellence in Sport, Physical Education and Performance

Professor Hong Ping, Vice President of Beijing Sport University, China will deliver the keynote. 

3. Professional Practice

Ms Anita Hobson-Powell, Chief Executive Officer of Medical Deans Australia and New Zealand, will deliver the keynote. She previously served as Chief Allied Health Officer for the Australian Government and as Chief Executive Officer of Exercise & Sport Science Australia, providing exceptional leadership experience across professional accreditation, workforce development and health policy. She will discuss the professional journey for Sport and Exercise Science graduates towards becoming accredited international practitioners.

Group Registration Discount
