The Education University of Hong Kong (EdUHK) will hold the ‘Belt and Road’ International Conference on Multilingual Education, Cultural Heritage and Talent Cultivation on 17 and 18 June 2025 at its Tai Po campus.

This conference is co-organised by the Centre for Chinese and Multilingual Education Development (CCMED), CKC TechCulture Innovation Centre (CKCTIC), and the EdUHK–YNNU Joint Centre for Synergistic Innovation in South and Southeast Asia Education Development and Research.

The two-day conference aims to bring scholars and experts from different countries together to explore how multilingual education promotes cultural integration, fosters cultural continuity of overseas Chinese communities, and strengthens education collaboration and talent cultivation in various countries and regions, under the perspective of the Belt and Road Initiative. There will be activities such as keynote speeches, oral presentations and panel discussions.
