Forum Background and Objectives
To delve into how artificial intelligence (AI) is reshaping traditional educational paradigms and to promote innovative development in future education and learning, The Education University of Hong Kong and Tsinghua University will jointly host the Future Education and Learning Forum on 13 and 14 June 2025, on The Education University of Hong Kong’s Tai Po Campus. This forum will bring together experts, scholars and researchers from various countries to explore cutting-edge issues related to the deep integration of AI and education. It aims to provide educators, researchers and stakeholders with profound academic insights and practical inspiration.

Core Themes of the Forum
The forum will focus on the following key themes:

• Future K-12 education
• Educational leadership
• Innovative curriculum development
• Value education and ethics
• Entrepreneurship education
• Adaptive and personalised learning
• AI literacy
• Assessment with emerging technologies

Parallel Sessions

Participants will engage in parallel sessions to explore topics such as ‘AI for Education’, ‘Mind, Brain, and Education’, and ‘AI for Science’. Additionally, school principals from Hong Kong and Mainland China will be invited to share and discuss their best practices in educational innovation and leadership.

Young Scholars Session
The forum will feature a dedicated session for young scholars, inviting early-career researchers and doctoral students to present their latest research findings. This platform will provide young scholars with the opportunity to interact with leading experts in the field and receive valuable academic guidance and feedback.

Expert Panel Discussion
The forum will also host expert panel discussions, inviting internationally renowned scholars and educational practitioners to engage in in-depth dialogue on core issues related to future education and learning. These discussions will offer participants diverse perspectives and inspiration.
