香港教育大學（教大）宣布成立「中國語言及中文教育研究中心」，藉此推動及深化漢語語言學與中文教育的相關研究及知識轉移。在今日（7月26日）舉行的「第五屆國際漢語教學研討會」上，中心舉行揭幕儀式。

香港教育大學（教大）中國語言學系與美國普林斯頓大學中文項目於二零一九年七月十七至二十七日，合辦第二屆「IB理念與漢語二語教學高級研討坊」，由普林斯頓大學周質平教授、劍橋大學袁博平教授、新加坡國立大學周清海教授，以及教大中國語言學系的專家團隊擔任主講，介紹漢語二語教學中的重要問題。

The Department of Curriculum and Instruction (C&I) at The Education University of Hong Kong has been awarded a HK$10 million contract by the Construction Industry Council (CIC) for a term of three years to teach 15 courses for the teaching staff at the Hong Kong Institute of Construction (HKIC).

The Assessment Research Centre at The Education University of Hong Kong has received recognition from the World Education Research Association (WERA) for its key International Research Network (IRN) on social metacognition and big data. The IRN’s 28 researchers, from 17 universities in nine countries and regions, are collaborating on seven research projects, involving large data sets, regarding how a group’s executive thinking influences its members’ actions.
