Three EdUHK undergraduate students were granted the Link University Scholarship this year:

• Chan Lai-kiu, a Year-1 student in the Bachelor of Education (Honours) (Chinese History) programme;
• Yan Qiuwen, a Year-1 student in the Bachelor of Education (Honours) (Science) programme; and
• Chan Hiu-tung, a Year-3 student in the Bachelor of Social Sciences (Honours) in Global and Environmental Studies programme

The presentation was held on 22 November 2018. The aim of the scholarship is to promote upward social mobility among young people. The Link scholars were selected from among applicants from the eight local universities. This scholarship and the associated Alumni programme are intended to provide financially disadvantaged students with the opportunity to realise their dreams for a better future. Moreover, through internship opportunities in Link and community engagement activities, the Link Scholars Alumni help students develop networking skills, prepare for careers, and learn to give back to society.

The Scholarship is open to Year-1 to Year-4 undergraduates.
