This workshop focuses on China’s vibrant art world across the Greater Bay Area (GBA) by uncovering four leading museums in Hong Kong, Guangzhou, Foshan and Shenzhen. This includes examining Chinese cultural influences on traditional and contemporary artistic practices and exhibitions. Participants will look at Lingnan School ink painting, contemporary visual culture, and the role of art in the GBA. This session is meant to engage the mind and heart while connecting to core artistic developments in the GBA.
